Happy mid-August! I can't believe the summer is nearly over. Fall is my favorite season, though.
It looks as though Dangerous to Know, my upcoming Regency novel, will be released in October. I'm so excited about this one because it's been roughly twenty years in the making. Loosely based upon Lord Byron's marriage to Annabella Milbanke, the novel is slightly darker Regency than Jane Austen or Georgette Heyer, but its message is redemptive and as relevant today as it was in 1815.
I am in the midst of assembling my street team and I still have a handful of spots left. What's a street team? Well, a street team is a group of family, friends, and readers who are willing to read and review the book before its release and are willing to post a meme or two on social media (which I will create and send to you). Basically, street team members create the buzz! If you are interested in being on the Dangerous to Know street team, please send me an e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
In addition, I am giving away one copy of Suburban Dangers along with a beautiful pair of Peruvian Turquoise earrings. You can enter if from my author page on Facebook, or through the following
link. At any rate, if you haven’t done so, I suggest you sign up for my bi-monthly newsletter, as I will announce the winner on the next one (October 1). In the meantime, I pray everyone has a blessed summer.
